Grandma was excellent at embroidery and I possess a number of embroidered table cloths that she made including a beautiful one with sprays of lilac , She made one for each of her daughters . Unlike her husband she was not buried but cremated as she said she didn't want t her family crying over her grave

What was the impact of this:

He was naturalized in 1913 and at that time he had six children aged from 1 to 13 years. My mother was not born until 1914 and there was another child after her , who died at a young age, Called Leslie .His wife Dora nee Lenz was born in Kolomya also an Austrian town and she married in about 1900 . She lived until 1958.
He married Dora Lenz in 1900 or thereabouts and we think he arrived in London in 1899. All the children were born before 1920 and some of them were in the armed forces in the 2nd world war
