The Levy Baronetcy, of Humberstone Hall in the County of Leicester, was a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 4 February 1913 for Sir Maurice Levy, Liberal Member of Parliament for Loughborough from 1900 to 1918. The third Baronet served as High Sheriff of Leicestershire from 1937 to 1938. The title became extinct on his death in 1996.

SIR MAURICE LEVY We regret to announce the death of Sir Maurice Levy, Bart., M.P. for Loughborough from 1900 to 1918, who passed away suddenly last Saturday, at the age of seventy-four, while on holiday at Brighton, where he had arrived the previous day. He was well known in the City of London and in the Provinces, and was Chairman of the firm of Hart and Levy, Ltd., wholesale clothiers and woollen merchants, of London. The deceased was born at Leicester and was the second son of the late Mr. Joseph Levy, of that city. . He was educated at the University of London and privately. In politics he was a staunch Liberal, and during his long parliamentary career he championed Jewish interests and actively opposed the passing of the Aliens Act before the War. He served in the Ministry of Munitions during the War, and was a member of Mr. Lloyd George's special trade missions to Ireland. At the conclusion of hostilities, he was a member of the Disposals Board. Sir Maurice took a prominent, part in county affairs, being D.L. for Leicestershire, a Justice of the Peace, and in 1926-27 High Sheriff of the county. "He was a keen sportsman, and was a member for many years of the New West End Synagogue and the Leicester Synagogue. In 1907, the deceased waft created a Knight, and in 1918 a Baronet. His wife, whom he married in 1885, was Elise Rey, daughter of the late Mr.Max Zoasenheim, of Leeds and Harrogate. There were four daughters and one son, Ewart Maurice, who was born in 1897, and succeeds as second Baronet.- Last year, the new Baronet married Hylda, daughter of Sir Albert Levy, The remains of Sir Maurice Levy were cremated at Golders Green on Tuesday.
