2/19th London Regt.

 

The 19th Battalion, London Regiment (St Pancras) was a Volunteer unit of the British Army in existence from 1860 to 1961 under various titles. A detachment served in the Second Boer War and two full battalions fought in the First World War, receiving the surrender of Jerusalem and crossing the Jordan. 

2/19th Battalion served on the Western Front, in Salonika and Palestine 

This album contains images taken in Egypt, Palestine and Syria (1917-1919), by Samuel Davis, 2/19th Battalion, London Regiment.
