The Great Synagogue, Belgrave Street (Place of parents marriage)
Killed in action in 1915. There is a "gravestone" in the Commonwealth Graves Commission memorial grounds in Le Touret, France, but there was no grave as such because there were no remains to bury. Apparently, a neighbor's son had been sent out in the same unit as Myer. He'd said that :"one minute he was there ... and the next he was gone", indicating that he'd been blown up. He was only 23 and was probably killed as soon as he landed in France.
