Mrs Beer and her husband mentioned in the British Jewry Book of Honour: "Mr and Mrs Beer established, at their own expense, Bradstones Auxiliary Hospital at West Derby, over 600 patients passing through the institution."

Son Arthur was awarded the Military Cross, and sadly died of wounds sustained in action in France.
