The Royal Flying Corps was created in May 1912. During World War One, it became the eyes of the British Army directing artillery gunfire and taking photographs for intelligence analysis.
This is a collection of photographs, documents, and objects from Jewish soldiers who served in the Corps, kindly provided by the Jewish Museum London.
The Jewish Museum London holds an important archive which documents Jewish life in London in detail. The Jewish Military Museum/AJEX Collection, now at the Jewish Museum London, focuses on the stories of individual Jewish men and women who have served in the British Armed Forces for over three centuries.
