Location: Hazebrouck. In February 1916, 41st Division had concentrated at Aldershot for its final intensive war training. On 26th April the Division was inspected by King George V and entrainment for France began on 1st May.
Disembarkation was completed on 6th May and by 8th May the Division had concentrated between Hazebrouck and Bailleul, where it joined Second Army.
