Family legend
Henry was wounded in France and was in a military hospital for a year in Liverpool recovering. Golda and her friends would visit the Jewish soldiers in the hospital and she fell in love with him before he was sent back to France. He would send her postcards and presents from Europe before he returned and they were married in 1920.

Wolfe was Wolfe Efros when he came to England but the immigration officer couldn't understand him so declared his name was 'Gershon' just like the person before him. It was changed to Gershaw over the years.

Golda was a huge wrestling fan and used to watch it on the television. She was the kindest, quietest, sweetest person but the moment the wrestling was on she was like "KILL HIM!"
