Harry Geller served in the Royal Flying Corps, later the Royal Air Force, between 1915 and 1918. Tragically after more than 3 years of fighting Harry died in a military hospital of pneumonia, just 6 days before the armistice. He was buried close to home and his family and friends posted a heartfelt tribute to him in the Jewish Chronicle.
