Memories of the War
Harry remembered playing football with the Germans in No Man's Land on Christmas Eve, just as the famous story goes.
Love Story
When Harry went off to war he had a girlfriend named Yetta whom he wrote letters to from the Front, but afterwards they lost touch, and Harry moved to Leeds where he met his future wife Jeanette, and they had two children together.
After Jeanette passed away, Yetta got in touch to send her condolences, and the two ended up getting married and were together for 25 years.
