Charles' is memorialised on his parents' gravestone along with two other children they lost. The grave is at Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
He is also on the Sutton memorial in Surrey.

CITATION:
For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in action at Albert on 22nd August 1918. His platoon was responsible for mopping up a large area of the town, and at one point came across vigorous opposition. He organised an immediate attack, capturing the post with 50 prisoners, and clearing his area within the scheduled time.
