My father was born Avram Rorhenberg on 4 November 1888 in Roman, Romania.
He came to England in the 1890's
He was naturalised A A Roth in 1914 and joined the army
in the RAOC. At the end of WW1 he was a major, had been mentioned in dispatches and had been awarded the OBE.
